Scholars of Color- Nathan James

What is Scholars of Color?

It is a platform in which scholars of color are purposefully celebrated. It’s a space where scholars of color are showcased front and center. It is a digital space where we feel empowered and resilient. Let us get to know each other. Let us cheer each other on AND show the world what we have to offer.

Let us now welcome Nathan James to the Scholars of Color space!

Name: Nathan James

Location:  Global

Gender Pronouns: He/Him/His They/Them/Theirs

What's your current occupation? (i.e. Student, Scientist, Coach, In transition, etc.): Blogger and Influencer

Without positions or titles, how would you describe yourself?: Just a badass sober neurodivergent bisexual with a mission of spreading authenticity

What are you passionate about?: Where do I even begin? I've always been passionate about helping communities and those who are marginalized. As a black bisexual man who also happens to be autistic and sober, I find joy and authenticity in sharing my struggles, educating those who want to know more, and advocating!

What does the representation of Scholars of Color mean to you?: It means everything! This platform is a beautiful form of representation and community. If I had come across a platform like this growing up, I know how seen and heard it would have made me feel. I'm honored to be a part of it.

If people are interested in getting connected to you, how can they?:  Insta: @natesdreamylife and soon to come my new blog www.justaspicymeatball.com

Anything else you would like us to know?: After being laid off my job, I decided to travel the world and do volunteer work while trying to build up my blog and clothing brand.

Thank you Nathan for sharing space with us!

Stay tuned everyone for more Scholars of Color profiles. Interested in being showcased yourself? Please email the Scholars of Color team at scholarsofcolor@reclaimingyourhappiness.com and we will get back to you shortly.
